For 2022, Chevrolet offers truck buyers two versions of its popular Silverado 1500 pickup. In addition to the standard Chevy Silverado 1500, buyers at the Cottonwood Chevrolet dealer can also get the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD. The LTD model is basically a rebranded 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 intended to fill the gap due to supply chain issues. Expect Chevrolet to provide the Silverado 1500 LTD until ample supplies of the 2022 Silverado are available.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Trim Levels
According to the Cottonwood Chevrolet dealership, the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD comes in eight trim levels: Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country.

Buyers can choose one of four engines:

• The Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST and LT Trail Boss are equipped with a standard 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque, matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
• The Custom Trail Boss and higher trims are powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine that generates 355 hp and 385 lb-ft, linked to an eight-speed automatic.
• The RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country with four-wheel drive has an available 6.2-liter V8 that develops 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a 10-speed automatic.
• All Silverado 1500 LTD trims except the Custom have an optional 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder unit good for 277 hp and 460 lb-ft, teamed to a 10-speed automatic.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Work Truck
The Work Truck trim level is the only model of the bunch that offers a regular cab. It comes with 17-inch steel wheels, manual windows and door locks, a tilt-only steering wheel, automatic on/off halogen headlights, vinyl upholstery, a 40/20/40 split-bench seat, a rearview camera and air conditioning. The standard infotainment system features a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an audio system with two speakers, Bluetooth and a USB port. Buyers who order the WT with the Double Cab or Crew Cab get power windows, power door locks, and a six-speaker audio system.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Custom
The Custom trim comes in Double Cab and Crew Cab configurations. It includes 20-inch alloy wheels, cloth seating, remote start, remote keyless entry, an LED cargo-bed light, heated power mirrors, an EZ Lift tailgate with a power lock, a trailering package, trailer-hitch guidance, cruise control and an antitheft alarm system. Other standard features include a six-speaker audio system, Wi-Fi, satellite radio capability and OnStar connected services.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Custom Trail Boss
The Custom Trail Boss was designed to provide exceptional off-road capability. It comes with four-wheel drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, Rancho monotube shocks and a 2-inch suspension lift. It also gets the Z71 off-road package, which includes a two-speed transfer case, an automatic locking rear differential, hill-descent control and a skidplate.

The LT trim comes with 17-inch alloys, LED headlights, keyless entry/push-button start, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a heated tilt/telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front outboard seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear-window defogger, a 12.3-inch color information gauge display, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, and front under-seat storage.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD RST
Standard features for the RST trim include 18-inch aluminum wheels, a single-speed transfer case, and LED taillights and foglights. With the Double Cab, this trim is front-wheel drive only.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD LTZ
The LTZ comes with 20-inch polished wheels, heated and ventilated leather front bucket seats, external transmission-oil and engine-oil coolers, a 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated rear outboard seats, an auto-dimming driver’s-side outboard mirror, and power-folding outboard mirrors. Other standard features include an Advanced Trailering System, an integrated trailer-brake control, a rear power-sliding window, a power-operated tailgate, and two 120-volt power outlets. Driver assistance features that come standard include lane-departure alert, front and rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD High Country
The range-topping 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD High Country starts with features of the LTZ trim and adds 20-inch painted aluminum wheels, upgraded LED headlights, 6-inch chrome running boards, a spray-on bedliner, perforated leather upholstery, and a seven-speaker Bose premium audio system.
