Some trims now come equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, replacing the standard plastic model.
According to the Chevrolet dealer serving Prescott, the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse seats up to eight passengers. Buyers can customize the Traverse with appearance packages, including the Midnight Edition, Redline Edition, and Sport Edition.
The 2023 Chevy Traverse gets high marks from U.S. News and World Report: “The Traverse impresses across the board, with a long list of standard tech and driver-assistance features, plenty of passenger space in all three rows, a potent V6 engine, cavernous cargo room and a smooth ride.”
The 2023 Traverse is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that puts out an impressive 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, teamed to a nine-speed automatic transmission. All models are equipped with standard front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available. This engine features an automatic stop/start system that enhances fuel efficiency. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated at 18 mpg city/27 mpg highway for front-wheel drive models. All-wheel-drive models return 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway.*
All Traverse trims except the LS come with a standard second-row setup featuring captain’s chairs, which reduces seating capacity to seven passengers. The LS model is equipped with a standard second-row bench seat, allowing it to accommodate eight passengers. The bench seat is available on some trim levels.
The Traverse’s cabin is comfortable and peaceful. Passengers are effectively shielded from road and engine noise, allowing for a tranquil journey. With 157 cubic feet of passenger space, there’s ample room for everyone to stretch out and relax, while 98.2 cubic feet of cargo space makes it easy to store and transport items. The Traverse boasts a plentiful supply of storage compartments in the first row.
Standard features for the base Traverse LS trim include 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, cloth seats, heated outside mirrors, tri-zone climate control, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an audio system with six speakers, satellite radio, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and six USB ports.
