The 2023 Traverse is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that puts out an impressive 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, teamed to a nine-speed automatic transmission. All models are equipped with standard front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available. This engine features an automatic stop/start system that enhances fuel efficiency. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated at 18 mpg city/27 mpg highway for front-wheel drive models. All-wheel-drive models return 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway.*
All Traverse trims except the LS come with a standard second-row setup featuring captain’s chairs, which reduces seating capacity to seven passengers.
