The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox seats up to five passengers in three trims: LT, Activ, and RS. All models are equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. According to the Prescott Valley Chevrolet dealership, this engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) on front-wheel drive models, while all-wheel drive versions come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The LT comes with cloth upholstery in black, Artemis gray, or black Evotex. Also standard is an 11-inch driver information center, an upgraded 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 5G Wi-Fi, Google Built-In, wireless charging, and an optional panoramic sunroof. The LT’s exterior can be personalized with an available two-tone roof, adding a touch of flair to its sophisticated design.

    The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox Activ trim is an excellent choice for those seeking outdoor adventures. This model gets exclusive features for a more rugged look and enhanced capabilities. The exterior boasts a black bowtie emblem, a distinctive mustache bar with winged treatment aligning with the front daytime running lamps and turn signals, and a unique lower grille and valence with black trim. The Activ also includes black trim elements not found on the LT, contributing to its distinctive appearance.

    The Activ trim is designed with off-road enthusiasts in mind, featuring a modified suspension, 17-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, and increased ground clearance. These enhancements make the Activ more suitable for tackling dirt trails and other off-road conditions. Additionally, the Activ comes equipped with black roof rails, providing extra storage options for gear and luggage.

    The Activ offers a refined yet durable interior. The seats are upholstered in a combination of Evotex and black microfiber suede, with “ACTIV” embroidered on the headrests and accented by orange piping. Heated front seats ensure comfort in colder climates. The interior color scheme of Maple Sugar and Black adds a premium feel to the rugged design.

    The drive mode selector allows drivers to adapt the vehicle’s performance to various driving conditions, offering Normal and Snow modes for front-wheel drive models and an additional Off-Road mode for all-wheel drive versions.

    The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox RS trim is crafted for those who seek a sportier and more aggressive appearance. The RS features unique exterior styling, including a distinctive front fascia with a black grille, mirror caps, roof rails, and badging. Standard 19-inch wheels enhance its bold look; buyers can upgrade to 20-inch machined wheels.

    Inside, the RS offers a blend of style and comfort with black Evotex seating, Torch Red accents along the shoulders of the seatbacks, and Santorini Blue contrast stitching. The “RS” emblem is embossed on the headrests, and the steering wheel is an exclusive flat-bottom design. The RS trim also includes ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic climate control, ensuring a premium driving experience.
